19-year-old Alexis Romero is one of six people from the Central Coast who made the journey to Arizona to fight the controversial immigration law.

The student from Castroville is travelling with the Salinas chapter of the United Farm Workers Association. Romero told Central Coast News he made the trip because he thinks the law is unfair.

While he's happy a judge blocked certain parts of the new law, he says their work is not yet done.
